My name is Bianca Washington but online I often go by Bianca Shanice. I grew up in a big family; me and my four siblings as well as my parents. I graduated from New Mission high school with a 3.56 GPA and I always wanted to go to college to further my education. I decided to go to Bunker hill because it is affordable and convenient. I come from an African-American and Jamaican background. I plan on getting on the dean's list and transferring to Northeastern University after I obtain my associates degree here; I want to become a cultural anthropologist and teach someday.
What do I do for fun? Hmm.. For fun I like to shop, like many other females. I also like to write, I currently have a book out on amazon that I am working on. I like to spend time with my significant other and my family very much. I'm interested in a lot of things such as: cultural, diversity, creativity, writing, children, music and fashion.
I believe that a friend of mine would describe me in many ways: funny, loyal, understanding, respectful and supportive. I love to make my friends laugh especially during tough times when a laugh or two is needed. Regardless of the ups and downs I may have with a friend or ex-friend I believe that your loyalty defines who you are in a sense. I believe that many things you have in life can be stripped from you like money, clothes or jewelry. However, what can't be taken from you is your pride, dignity, morality and loyalty; those few things make a person who they are so being loyal to someone is as important as being loyal and true to yourself.
I am an amazing individual who
astounds many by exceeding expectations
many possess the ability to be great... we all do
anyone can be wonderful
unlike the generalization that set us apart we all need to know that
no one or anything can define you or your potential
it's your birth right to be all you can be, even if that means you have to go against all norms and
question society or even those close to you
uniqueness is key, be you because you...me, we are rare. one of a kind in
every way, learn to
cherish the moments you have, every second isn't guaranteed
how many of us want success?
I know I do
life is a learning experience, like other experiences it's a one time thing so
don't loose out
on the wonders of this world and the beauty it has to offer
for a second I lost track of myself...the
topic was me being a unique child this world I'm
here in this world to make a difference for myself, my family and those who only dream of changing the world
I don't know where I'd be without my parents, my
siblings, my teachers and my friends that helped me realize that
with a little ambition and an imagination sky is the limit, that the
only way to get what you desire in this world is through hard work the
real world is no place for idle minds and no aspirations
love, friendships and
dreams are some of the few things that makes me a unique child in this world!

Great poem! I like the affirmation you chose. Powerful stuff. Your poem is creative, and it has a great flow.
One key suggestion: be sure to put at least 3 pictures/images in each post. Blogs are websites and websites need images to draw readers in. Google some fun stuff and see what you can use to accompany your text. Design is important.
